Leadership Pathway Programme

What is the Leadership Pathway Programme?

New Zealand Young Farmers along with the Red Meat Profit Partnership have developed the Leadership Pathway Programme to identify emerging leaders, harnessing their current skills and knowledge to ensure that positive, forward thinking leaders are entering and making a difference in the Primary Industries.

Who can apply?

The Leadership Pathway Programme is for TeenAg club members. However, years nine and ten may require help from either older students within their club or the territory manager.

How does it work?

Participants complete the programme by undertaking five modules. These involve completing actions and organising events.

What's in it for you?

On completion, participants will be able to confidently apply their leadership skills to their TeenAg clubs and wider community. They will receive a certificate, NZYF leadership badge and a list of available scholarships. Completion of the course will also stay on record with NZYF and can be used to members' advantage when applying for jobs, universities and halls of residence.
